Walk the Dish 2012

Come for a hike with Asha Stanford and meet new and returning students!

You might have already heard about Asha for Education and its work towards education of underprivileged children in India.

To learn more about what we do and how you can get involved, join us on Sunday, the 23th of September for a stroll to the Stanford Dish, located in the foothills off Junipero Serra and Stanford Avenue. One of Stanford’s more famous landmarks, the Dish provides amazing views of the Stanford campus, and the whole south bay. Following the walk, we will get back to the Graduate Community Center (GCC) and treat you to a nice Indian dinner.

Here’s the detailed schedule:

Sunday, 23th September
4:00pm – Assemble at the Graduate Community Center (GCC, 750 Escondido Road). Bring a light jacket and a bottle of water!
4:15pm – Start the hike (~3.3 mile, paved)
6:30pm – Return to GCC for FREE Indian dinner!

This outing should be a great way for you guys to learn more about Asha, and to also get to know other students and alumni on and off campus.
